SAN JOSE – Devree Godinez smacked a two-run double, as part of a fifth-inning rally, but that would be all the runs West Hills College Coalinga would score in a 12-4 loss in the finale of a non-conference doubleheader at San Jose City College on Saturday.

The Falcons fell 15-0 in Saturday's opener. That was preceded by a pair of 8-0 losses at Ohlone College in another doubleheader on Friday in Fremont.

West Hills totaled 6 hits in the Game 2 setback to San Jose. Tiara Daly smacked a RBI double and Natalie Molina also drove in a run in the four-run, fifth.

The Falcons are still in search of their first win and are 0-7 to start the 2024 season. West Hills returns to action on Thursday (Feb. 8) when it hosts Hartnell College in a doubleheader. Game 1 is set for 12 p.m.
