QUINCY, CA – The 2022-23 West Hills College Coalinga rodeo season got off to a great start as the Falcons turned in numerous top performances at the two-day Feather River College Rodeo in Quincy.

Head coach Ryan Smith, now in her second year leading the program, was proud of her team's effort over the weekend.

"The Falcons Rodeo team had a great first rodeo here at Feather River College," Smith said. "The Falcons had a strong showing and we are proud of every single one of our student-athletes. Their performance in the arena and their attitudes and sportsmanship out of the arena were nothing short of amazing."

Maddie Biglow and Gavin Cardoza topped the list of West Hills' accomplishments. Biglow was named the Women's All-Around champion and also won the Breakaway championship. Cardoza earned the Feather River College Rodeo Champion Heeler and also placed among the all-arounds.
