Falcons drop Central Valley Conference opener at Reedley

REEDLEY – Khyree Reese scored 17 points while Elisee Ehuie posted a double-double to lead West Hills College Coalinga in a 79-64 loss at Reedley College on Wednesday in both teams' Central Valley Conference opener.

Reedley built up a substantial 44-26 lead at halftime. The Falcons went on to outscore the Tigers 38-35 in the second half but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Ehuie grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds to go with 10 points on another solid night. Supreme Niles added 14 points and 5 assists and Daemar Potts chipped in with 10 points and 5 rebounds.

The loss dropped West Hills to 6-9 overall and 0-1 in conference play. The Falcons are back in action on Saturday (Jan. 7) when they travel to Columbia College for a 6 p.m. Central Valley Conference game. The contest will be live streamed for free by NorCal Sports on YouTube. | VIDEO LINK
