West Hills College Coalinga freshman Trevon Perry scored a season-high 23 points to lead the Falcons in a 93-71 loss at College of the Canyons on Saturday.

Canyons (5-3) built up a sizable 42-22 lead at halftime that the Falcons couldn't overcome. West Hills played better in the second, getting narrowly outscored 51-49 over the final 20 minutes of the contest.

Fredery Cuello posted a double-double, scoring 17 points to go along with a team-high 10 rebounds. Derrick Barnes (11 points) and Trevin Levy (10 points) also scored in double digits for West Hills.

The Falcons are still in search of their first win and fell to 0-12 on the season. They return to action on Dec. 17 to take on Bakersfield College in a 5 p.m. non-conference game that will be played at West Hills College Lemoore's Golden Eagle Arena.
