West Hills College Coalinga has named Bailee Costa from women's volleyball and Rudy Valdez from football as its Student-Athletes of the Month for September.

Bailee Costa, LIB, Sophomore, #4 – Sierra Pacific High School
Bailee demonstrates servant leadership and leads by example. Her tireless pursuit and reading keeps the offense going. Statistically for the month, she totaled 140 digs over 10 matches and averaged 3.89 digs per set. Bailee also had 15 aces.

Rudy Valdez, DB/P, Sophomore, #23 – Madera South High School
Rudy was named the Northern California Football Conference Defensive Player of the week after our win over College of the Redwoods as well as special teams' player of the week earlier this month. He has 13 tackles, 1 interception, 2 TFL's, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery for the season. He is our special team's punter and carries a perfect G.P.A.
