West Hills College Coalinga would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week: Ayana Lopez from Softball, Deandre Johnson of men’s basketball, and Zoey Stevens from the rodeo team!

Ayana Lopez, Softball, #21, Infield
Ayana, a 2023 graduate from Centennial High School in Bakersfield, is a Psychology major who earned a 3.06 G.P.A. last fall and is working hard to continue her educational goals.  During opening weekend, Ayana played 3rd base exhibiting great reflexes while leading her team in offense.

Deandre Johnson, Men’s Basketball, #21, Guard
A 2023 graduate of Lemoore High School who continues to show growth on and off the court.  Against College of the Sequoias and Merced, Deandre averaged 13 points. Deandre earned a 3.75 G.P.A. last fall and continues to take his education seriously.

Zoey Stevens, Rodeo
Zoey, a 2021 graduate of Nueva Vista High School in Jurupa Valley, is in her 2nd year as a Falcon.  She shows a great work ethic and the ability to self-reflect.  Zoey has been an influential team member showing dedication to her craft.
