West Hills College Coalinga would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week: Khamron Miles from Men’s Basketball, Nico Reed of Baseball, Lupita Romero from Softball, and Johnny Zuniga of the Rodeo team!

#4 Khamron Miles, Men’s Basketball, Guard
A 2021 graduate of Clovis North High School had two great games against Fresno City and West Hills Lemoore averaging 11.5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists per game.  Khamron earned his Associate of Science degree in May of 2023 and has a cumulative 3.62 G.P.A.

Nico Reed, Baseball
A 2023 graduate of Washington Union High School who shows great discipline and demonstrates a contagious work ethic.  Nico earned a 3.63 G.P.A. last fall which leads to his positive attitude and shows him to be a great leader.

#16 Lupita Romero, Softball, Outfield
Lupita, a 2023 graduate from Madera South High School, is a Kinesiology major who earned a 3.25 G.P.A. last fall.  She has strong leadership qualities as well as accountability and dedication to the program, herself and her team.

Johnny Zuniga, Rodeo
Johnny, a 2022 graduate of Kern Valley High School, has exceptional drive and a willingness to help others.  He is an excellent team player and can always be counted on to assist at any time.  He has worked hard diving into the technique of riding bulls and has shown significant improvement.
