Wanderer named CVC Coach of the Year, Falcons earn 10 postseason awards

Following the close of an impressive West Hills College Coalinga women's volleyball season, the Falcons earned a total of 10 Central Valley Conference postseason honors.

Topping the list was WHCC head coach Jeff Wanderer. He was named the Central Valley Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to a 14-2 record in CVC matches and a second-place finish. West Hills qualified for the Northern California Regionals Playoffs for the first time since 2019 and closed out the season with a 16-9 overall record.

First-team All-Central Valley Conference honors went to freshman outside hitter Zoe Ruskofsky, freshman setter Sarah Wold, and sophomore libero Bailee Costa.

Named second-team All-CVC were freshman outside hitter Beth Moreno, freshman middle blocker Kaylee Bayer, and freshman right side Tiara Daly.

Recognized as All-CVC honorable mention were freshman libero Aryam Munoz, freshman setter Tiffany Kelton, and freshman middle blocker Tyra Kelly.
