The 2021 campaign opened with a pair of matches at the Monterey Peninsula College Classic on Friday. The opening match featured a 4-set win over Los Medanos in the matinee. The Falcons were led by Middle Hitter Isa Stevens' 11 Kills and followed by 9 Kills from Opposite Hitter Arelis Chavez-Hernandez and 8 Kills from Outside Hitter Sanaii Cooper. Lexi Vancil and Jada Douangmala combined for 43 assists in the match. Kalissa Ortega led the defensive effort with 12 digs.

In the evening match, West Hills faced a relentless Monterey Peninsula in another 4-set slug fest, where the Falcons eventually fell to the host team. The Falcons were powered behind 9 Kills from Sanaii Cooper. "We really grew today", Coach Wanderer said following the match. "We have grown so much over the last few weeks and to see them put it on the floor today was special".

The Falcons return to play on Wed Sep 8 at home against Ohlone College at 1 PM and Los Medanos College at 5 PM. Tickets are $5 at the door.
