The West Hills College Coalinga women's volleyball team got back on track thanks to a pair of Central Valley Conference sweeps. On Tuesday, the Falcons defeated Reedley College 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 and wrapped up the week with a 25-22, 25-17, 25-20 victory at Porterville College.
Sanaii Cooper led West Hills on offense in the win over Reedley. She totaled 10 kills while Sariya Harris added 7 kills. Kalissa Ortega led all with 25 digs and Jada Douangmala had 16 assists.
Against Porterville, it was Jaden Flores' turn to come up big for the Falcons as she had 9 kills. Ortega posted 29 digs, and Douangmala had 23 assists.
The Falcons are 8-14 overall and 5-9 in conference play as they head into their final week of play. They host Columbia College on Wednesday (Nov. 10) at 5 p.m. in their final home match and close out the season at West Hills College Lemoore on Friday (Nov. 12) at 6 p.m.
