Former West Hills College Coalinga football standout Imoni Donadelle is taking his talents to the XFL. On Sunday, Donadelle was selected by the Seattle Sea Dragons out of the NFL Alumni Academy in the 2023 XFL Supplemental Draft.

West Hills head coach Justin Berna is excited for the future of his former player.

"I'm very happy for him," said Berna. "I'm proud of him for not giving up on his career and taking advantage of the opportunities that were given to him."

Donadelle was a two-time all-conference wide receiver for the Falcons during the 2016 and 2018 seasons. As a sophomore, he hauled in 36 receptions for 705 yards and 12 touchdowns on his way to All-State Region I honors. He also added a pair of rushing touchdowns.

Following West Hills, Donadelle transferred to Northwest Missouri State University where he twice earned All-MIAA (Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association) honors. Over his two-season career (2019/2021), Donadelle totaled 1,891 yards (1,188 receiving/703 kick return) and 16 touchdowns (15 rec./1 ret.).

"He was a great player for us and at Northwest Missouri State," Berna said. "He's a great kid, very coachable, and has a great knack for returning the ball and making big plays. Now he gets an opportunity to play at a high level."

Donadelle is set begin his professional career this weekend with training camp. Opening day for the XFL is set for Feb. 18.
