Falcons’ Jaice Holt named NCFC Player of the Week

West Hills College Coalinga quarterback Jaice Holt was named the Northern California Football Conference (NCFC) National Division Player of the Week for his play against Shasta College this past Saturday.

Holt completed 29 of 42 passes for a season-high 278 yards with a touchdown while also running for a nine-yard TD. He led the Falcons to a season-high 407 yards of offense in a tough 35-21 loss.

Holt, originally out of Ogden High School in Utah, has thrown for 707 yards and four touchdowns over three games this season, completing 66 of 105 passes.

After having their first three games postponed, West Hills is of to a rough start at 0-3 and opens National Valley League play at Modesto Junior College this Saturday (Oct. 16) at 6 p.m.
