Coalinga College Softball Program Finishes Fall Semester Strong with Team High GPA of 3.61

The Coalinga College Falcons softball team has completed the fall semester on an exceptional high note by achieving a team-wide GPA of 3.61 marking a significant academic accomplishment for the program. All 15 student-athletes demonstrated dedication not only to their sport but also to their academics, finishing the semester with an impressive average GPA of approximately 3.1.

Among the standout performers, four Falcons earned perfect 4.0 GPAs, while five more finished with GPAs above 3.5. These academic achievements reflect the team's commitment to excelling both on the field and in the classroom.

Head Coach Gabrielle Brixey-Robertson, "Our players have shown incredible discipline and focus this semester. Their hard work in the classroom is just as important as their effort on the field, and we are extremely proud of their academic success. I am proud of our team's dedication to balancing athletics with academics."

Looking ahead, the Falcons are gearing up for their season opener on Tuesday, February 4th hosting a double header against Ohlone College at Falcon Field, with the first game set to begin at 12:00 PM and the second game at 2:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to swing by Falcon Field to support the team in what promises to be an exciting start to the season.

Marking strong academic performance last fall, the Falcons are poised for a successful spring season both in the classroom and on the diamond. The team continues to represent Coalinga College with pride and excellence, showing that they are more than just athletes—they are scholar-athletes!
