Coalinga College head coach Justin Berna was recently elected vice president of the California Community College Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA). His two-year term will begin this summer.

"It was an honor to be nominated and elected by my peers and executive board members," said Berna. "I'm excited to serve our association for the next four years."

Following his initial term, Berna will take over as the CCCFCA president in 2027.

Berna has been head coach of the Coalinga College football program since 2017. He also currently serves as the Golden Coast League rep at the all-region and all-state meetings. Berna is also a member of the state competition committee.
