The Falcons recently closed out the 2024 season at the Grizzly Bowl. Coalinga played in a postseason bowl game for the second time in three seasons.

According to Berna, playing in the postseason was a priority for this year's squad.

"Our sophomores set a goal in spring to get back to a bowl game," Berna said. "It was great to see our focus and determination the last month of the season to win out and secure another bowl for the team and program."

The Falcons completed their third straight winning season under Berna, going 4-2 in a very competitive Golden Coast League and finishing with a 6-5 overall record.
