Coalinga College has named Mario Delgado from football and Zoe Ruskofsky of women's volleyball its Student-Athletes of the Month for October.

#4 Mario Delgado—Sophomore Linebacker from Coalinga High School
During our 4 games in October, Mario led the Falcons with 35 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL, plus recovered a fumble and ran it in for a Falcon touchdown. Mario also handles the kicking duties for the Falcons and was 2 of 2 on FGs and 21 of 21 on PATs in October.

Mario currently holds a 3.4 GPA and will graduate this spring semester.

#5 Zoe Ruskofsky—Sophomore Outside Hitter from Clovis High School
Zoe continued her standout sophomore season for the Falcons. Her hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence sets an example for others.

Over 7 matches during the month of October, Zoe totaled 87 kills and 97 digs. She averaged 3.95 kills and 4.41 digs per set. Earlier in the season, she was named the State Player of the Week by the CCCWVCA.
