Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Aurora Sotelo from the women's volleyball team and football's Demarion Wright!

Aurora Sotelo, Women's Volleyball (Freshman, Outside Hitter, Tulare, CA / Mission Oak HS)
Aurora led all scoring over the weekend, putting up 26 points against Lassen College and 18 points against Cuesta College. Aurora scored from the net with kills and blocks as well as from the service line in both matches.

Demarion Wright, Football (Sophomore, Running Back, San Diego, CA / Morse HS)
Demarion recorded 13 carries for 84 yards with a 6.5 yards per carry average vs Feather River College in the Falcons opener. Demarion was voted to the teams leadership council by his peers and he has earned a 3.7 GPA while here at Coalinga and he will be graduating with his degree in December of 2025.
