Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Trey Cooks from football and Zoe Ruskofsky of women’s volleyball!

#5 Zoe Ruskofsky—Sophomore Outside Hitter from Clovis High School in Clovis
Zoe had a big week against some of the state’s best as she totaled 37 digs and 32 kills in conference matches against No. 4 state-ranked Fresno City and No. 15 Taft. She had 13 kills and 13 digs against FCC as well as 19 kills and a season-high 24 digs vs. Taft.

#34 Trey Cooks— Sophomore Running Back from Atascadero High School in Atascadero, CA
Trey had 114 total yards of offense, averaging 6.1 yards per carry, on Saturday for the Falcons. He also handled punting duties in the game. Trey’s average for the season is 102.8 total yards per game and 5.6 yards per carry.  He currently holds a 3.72 GPA and is one of the student leaders of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group on campus.
