Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Jase Dewey from the rodeo team, Devin Sanchez from football, and Sarah Wold of women’s volleyball!
Jase Dewey—Sophomore from Riverdale High School in Riverdale, CA
Jase has a terrific work ethic in the classroom and practice pen. He goes above and beyond helping others. Jase placed 8th in the team roping at our first rodeo following up with a win the very next day at our second rodeo as well as winning a buckle in Round 2 of the short go.
#0 Devin Sanchez—Sophomore Wide Receiver from Coalinga High School
Devin recorded 5 receptions for 104 yards, averaging 20.8 yards per reception, on Oct. 5 in the Falcons’ 49-6 win over Merced College. He has earned a 3.07 GPA during his time as a Falcon and will graduate in May of 2025.
#3 Sarah Wold—Sophomore Setter from Minarets High School in O’Neals, CA
Sarah totaled 41 Assists, 2 Aces, and 23 Digs over two Central Valley Conference matches last week for the Falcons.
