Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Niliah Gruver from the softball team, and Paul Martinez of baseball!

#9 Niliah Gruver – Freshman Catcher from Clovis West High School in Fresno
Niliah had a solid week at the plate, going .333 with 1 RBI and a walk. She also showed strength and consistency behind the plate as catcher. Niliah is excelling in the classroom as well, holding a 3.78 GPA while majoring in kinesiology.

#2 Paul Martinez – Sophomore Infielder from Clovis East High School in Clovis
Paul was locked in at the plate this week and seeing the ball well. He had a batting average of .455, going 5 for 11 with 3 singles, 1 double, and a big three-run home run. He also added 5 RBIs and scored 2 runs in helping the Falcons to a big conference win over the Blue Devils of Merced College.
