COALINGA – The 2023-24 West Hills College Coalinga men's basketball season officially came to a close with the Falcons' 76-60 Central Valley Conference victory over visiting Porterville College on Feb. 23.
Khamron Miles had a big game by scoring a game-high 26 points. Davion Edwards and Noah Richmond both posted double-double. Edwards totaled 13 points and 12 rebounds while Richmond had 15 points and 14 assists. Billy Branham added 16 points, 6 boards, and 5 assists.
West Hills went out on a winning note to end a tough season. The Falcons compiled an 8-19 overall record and were 2-12 in conference play.
2023-24 ALL-CENTRAL VALLEY CONFERENCE AWARDS
Following the close of the regular season, sophomore forward Devion Edwards and freshman guard Deandre Johnson were honored with All-Central Valley Conference postseason awards.
Edwards was an All-CVC honorable mention selection after leading the Falcons with 14.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. Johnson was named to the CVC All-Freshman team after averaging 5.9 points per game.
