West Hills College Coalinga was well represented on the All-Valley League postseason team as 10 Falcons were honored, including five on the first team.
Leading the way for West Hills was running back Dwan James. The sophomore wrapped up his final season with the Falcons rushing for a Valley League-high 1,108 yards on 191 carries (5.8 yards per carry average) with 9 touchdowns.
Opening the holes for James were offensive linemen Jamal Jones and Jorge Escalante. The sophomores helped the Falcons average 329.3 yards of offense a game, including 159.2 yards on the ground.
On defense, sophomore linebacker Dashawn Holliman and freshman defensive back Thadius Harris were both first-team honorees.
Holliman led West Hills with 58 tackles (31 solo). He added 1.5 sacks, 1 interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Harris had 39 tackles on the season, including 31 solo. He grabbed 2 interceptions and added 2 sacks.
All-Valley League honorable mention selections for the Falcons were sophomore wide receivers Cannon Eames and Jonathan Murphy, defensive linemen Riku Kasuga (Fr.) and Keyshawn Gist (So.), and freshman defensive back Jhrquez Teagal.
