Falcons drop Central Valley Conference game to Fresno

COALINGA – A tough 2024-25 season for the Coalinga College men's basketball team continued on Saturday as the Falcons suffered a 91-77 Central Valley Conference loss to visiting Fresno City College.

Donovan Johnson and Christian Turner both scored 19 points each to lead Coalinga. Donovan Johnson added 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and a pair of steals while Turner grabbed 6 boards.

Isaih Harper contributed 11 points and 6 rebounds, Deandre Johnson had 10 points and 9 boards, and Benjamin Teasley chipped in with 8 points.

Coalinga dropped to 1-15 overall and 0-2 in the Central Valley Conference. The Falcons are back in action on Wednesday (Jan. 15) when they travel to Porterville College for a CVC game.
