Coalinga College would like to congratulate its Student-Athletes of the Week, Rose Flores of softball and Ivan Ruiz from baseball!

Rose Flores, Sophomore, Pitcher, Selma High School
Rose proved to be a crucial asset in the final stretch of the season. She pitched two complete games, resulting in two wins, while conceding just 5 earned runs and tallying 4 strikeouts. Rose is pursuing a major in liberal studies and is set to graduate with her AA degree this spring.

Ivan Ruiz, Sophomore, Infielder, Clovis North High School
Ivan hit .400 with a double in the last week of the season. Ivan was our best overall defender this season and showed his resilience and leadership after missing the entire fall while recovering from shoulder surgery. He will graduate this spring with an AA degree in business.
