Jake Witt assumes the role of West Hills pitching coach for the spring 2020 season. Witt has extensive experience working with pitchers, having served as the pitching coach for the Pierre Trappers of the Expedition League for the past two summers. During his time in Pierre, the Trappers posted a 64-63 record and won the South Dakota Beef Cup over consecutive seasons. Witt also served as the Assistant General Manager for the 2019 season.

Witt has coached at the high school level, spending time at Liberty High School and Bakersfield Christian High School. He is also an instructor at Bakersfield Baseball Academy. 

Witt resides in Bakersfield with his wife Caty and two children, Addison and Brady.
